Bittersweet

Yesterday was our official last service at our home church, Bible Baptist Church. We’ve been serving there for nearly 19 years, so it was difficult to resign our positions as pianist, audio/visual engineer, and Sunday School teacher. Over the years, there has been a lot of laughter and a few tears, but through it all, we’ve grown to love our pastor, his wife, and the good people at Bible. We hope to stop in from time to time, but we know the sooner we begin dropping in to other churches and booking meetings to present our burden for Wales, the sooner we’ll be able to raise enough support to become full-time missionaries in Wales. So, as much as it breaks our hearts, we had to say “goodbye” to our church family for a while, knowing they will be praying for us while we’re away. We will also be praying for the church and all those who have taken up the responsibility to fill our posts. We love you, Bible Baptist family!
