As we wrap up the holiday season and step into the new year, we wanted to share with you the wonderful moments we've experienced over the past few weeks. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the joy and warmth that surrounded us, and we hope this update brings a smile to your face.

As the clock ticks down on our deadline, we have both good and bad news to report.  The good news is we’ve obtained our charity status and sent in our request for Bethania Chapel to become our sponsor.  The bad news is that the turnaround time for the sponsorship application can take up to eight weeks (which we don’t have).  That being the situation, we are prepared to pay the extra fee for the expedited service of two weeks, but even that step of the process is fraught with tangles.

We wanted to give you a quick update on what's been happening over the past few weeks.

Firstly, we've received word from our solicitor that our sponsor's appeal is still being processed by the immigration office. We're staying hopeful for a positive outcome.

In related news, we've taken a big step forward by submitting our application for Bethania Chapel to become a charity. It's an important milestone, and we're eagerly awaiting news about its approval. Please keep this matter in your prayers!
