Where there is no vision, the people perish. . .
It’s been quite a busy year so far, and we’re just getting started. We’ve had an exciting few months and are looking forward to what we have planned for the future. The Lord has opened some doors for us, and we’re starting to see evidence of Him moving in the hearts of some of the people around us. It’s so exciting to serve the Lord! Read MoreSo I'm out here today walking Tess and it is very typical fall, Welsh day, as you can see, it's very overcast. It's not actually raining today, which is a blessing, but I don't know if you can see the wind on the trees and everything behind me. It's actually kind of calm right this second.
It's been blowing like crazy. I mean to the point where it will just about knock you down. We've had to kind of fight through it a little bit. There comes some more of it, but this is just a typical day here in the fall in Wales. So this is kind of what we get to walk to each day, but we still have the beautiful view. So I'm thankful for that.
Read MoreTo begin this update, I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our family. This is Tess. She is a five-year-old Lakeland/Patterdale Terrier mix. She came from a good home, but due to some changes in their work environment, she was having to be left home all day every day, and her owners knew that wasn’t fair to her. We were in the beginning stages of looking for a dog, and the Lord allowed us to see Tess. We fell in love with her as soon as we met her. We’ve had her for a couple of weeks now, and she’s definitely become one of the family. She’s also been great for ministering because everyone who sees her wants to pet her and love on her. Yes, I believe she’ll lead to many open doors for us here in the community.
Read MoreLast Saturday was probably the busiest day of the year for our small community of Pant-y-dwr. The Pant-y-dwr Show brought people in from all over mid-Wales. There were games and activities for kids, various shows and contests, and a few vendors. The weather was very Welsh as we endured off-and-on showers for most of the afternoon.
