As you can see, I’m a bit behind in my updates. We’ve been busier than I anticipated, and it looks like the busyness is only beginning. This month, we’re moving, planning for the big ladies’ retreat, celebrating Jason’s birthday, and getting ready for a visit from my mom. Exciting things, to be sure, but definitely enough to keep us running.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you some pictures from my surprise birthday trip. In the middle of March, Jason took me to a place I’ve wanted to go since I first heard of it. It’s called Hay-on-Wye. It’s only 45 minutes from where we are. And it’s the world’s first book town. Yes, the entire town is dedicated to the written word. There are over 20 bookstores and more than one million books. I felt like I was in Heaven. It was three-days of rest, relaxation, and books!
