As we wrap up the holiday season and step into the new year, we wanted to share with you the wonderful moments we've experienced over the past few weeks. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the joy and warmth that surrounded us, and we hope this update brings a smile to your face.

In early December, I (Dana) had the incredible opportunity to speak at a ladies' Christmas tea in  northern Wales.  It was a fun time of games, songs, crafts, and, of course, food.  The following day, about 20 of us gathered for our annual Christmas Carol service at Bethania Baptist Chapel, and it was heartening to see many familiar faces joining in the festive spirit.

The holiday festivities continued with Jason being invited to preach in South Wales. His compelling Christmas message resonated with the congregation, reminding everyone of the true reason for the season.

In the midst of the month, we were blessed to share a delightful dinner with another local family in our area. The fellowship was sweet, and it served as a beautiful reminder of the love and unity that binds us as a community.

As Christmas Eve unfolded, our schedule was packed with services in the morning in town and in the afternoon in the valley. Following the day's activities, we gathered with our families via video chat, creating a virtual but heartfelt connection across the miles.  It was such a joy to connect, open gifts, and share some laughs.

Christmas morning brought a special time of reflection in town, featuring Scripture readings and an abundance of carols. Although our plans to share Christmas dinner with an elderly gentleman in our town were interrupted by his illness, we are eagerly anticipating welcoming him into our home for a New Year's celebration.

Tess, our excited terrier,  reveled in the holiday spirit, particularly enjoying the boxes that came with the presents. Her joyful antics added an extra layer of laughter and warmth to our celebrations.

As we wind down the holiday season, we've spent this week preparing for the upcoming year. Excitement fills our hearts as we ponder what the Lord has in store for us. We are grateful for the love and support we receive from each of you and look forward to sharing the journey ahead.

May the grace of God continue to guide us into a new year filled with hope, joy, and abundant blessings.
