Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

Since our last update, we've been on the road, attending meetings all over the place. We began with a last-minute meeting on Friday, June 25th, in Dacula, GA. We had a great time, and the church voted that night to take us on for support, which was a massive encouragement!

The following Sunday, we had a morning meeting in Chesnee, SC, and an evening meeting in Kings Mountain, NC. Both of these meetings were wonderful as well. From there, we made another last-minute decision to head further north to attend a week-long jubilee in Dover, DE. My uncle is the assistant pastor of the church that hosted the jubilee, so it was a great time of visiting family and making new friends. We spent mornings and evenings in meetings filled with powerful preaching and soul-stirring music. Then, there was the fellowship with people from all around the country. It was an exhausting week, but we had a great time and counted it a privilege to have been able to attend.

The following Sunday (July 4th), we visited a church in Dundalk, MD, for the morning service and York, PA, for the evening service. As you can imagine, both churches had special services for the holiday, and it was exciting to be a part of them. The patriotic songs, displays, and messages were so refreshing.

In York, we had the opportunity to meet up with a young man who has been following our deputation journey from the very beginning. He has kept up with us on social media and is constantly writing to encourage us. As we were visiting his church, he introduced us to nearly every single one of the members. He wanted to make sure everyone knew who we were and why we were there. It was precious! We were able to stay after the service to enjoy the church's fantastic fireworks display. If things work out, we'll be going back to that church to officially present our ministry at the end of the month.

We took Monday off as a rest day after all the meetings and traveling. It's easy to get going so hard and so much that we forget to take time to rest and recover. So, we're trying to make more of an effort to remember to slow down every once in a while.

We split up the drive from Maryland to South Carolina into two days, driving most of the time on Tuesday and finishing up on Wednesday. This got us "home" in time to swing by the chiropractor (another must with all the traveling) and to make it to church at our home church, Bible Baptist, that evening.

We spent Thursday running errands, picking up mail, and taking care of a few other things before heading out again on Friday morning. We traveled as far as Mississippi before stopping for the evening. Then on Saturday, we finished up our journey to Bossier City, Louisiana, where we had a full day of services the following day.

During the past couple of weeks, we've had a few more churches call, text, or email to let us know they have taken us on for support. We're so thankful for this and pray the Lord will keep bringing in the support.

We plan to spend the week here in Louisiana, taking care of ministry needs (i.e., booking meetings, talking with pastors, writing prayer letters and updates, bookkeeping, etc.) and getting a bit of rest. From here, we head to Texas for a couple of meetings then start making our way back to Pennsylvania. (I told you we're doing a lot of traveling!)

We praise the Lord for His goodness, mercies, and protection. We thank Him for His constant provision. And we thank each of you for the part you play in our ministry. We are so blessed!
