Home Again. . .For a Bit

We’re home from Tennessee, and all I can say is it was a wonderful couple of weeks. We were able to meet with several different churches in the area, some of which indicated they would like to have us back to present our work in full. So, we’re excited about the opportunities there. The churches also took such good care of us in love offerings and providing us a place to park our motorhome during our stay. We enjoyed a special patriotic service honoring our armed forces and law enforcement. One of the churches had the most scenic parking lot I’ve ever seen while another had a lovely spot for meeting with the Lord. Just a few little ways God poured out His love on us.

On Tuesday, we had the opportunity to catch up with our “adopted niece” and fellow missionary, Lorna. She was traveling through to Indiana and stopped by our RV to spend a few hours. We had such a sweet time of fellowship, laughing and sharing stories. It was a real blessing!

Now that we’re home (in Easley, SC), we have a lot of work to be done. We’re still sorting through emails and messages, trying to figure out which churches fit into what dates on the calendar. It’s all a bit overwhelming, but we’re so thankful God has opened up so many doors of opportunity for us. As if things weren’t busy enough, Jason has agreed to help his former employer with some work at a local college over the next couple of weeks. This means he’ll be working some long hours cleaning carpets while juggling phone calls, emails, and the other responsibilities of deputation. We would appreciate your prayers that God would give him strength during this time.

Right after Jason is done there, we’re headed to a couple of meetings in Ohio, which will be a new state for us. We’re excited to see what God is doing and looking forward to all He has in store for us.

Before I close, I want to also mention that I have a special unspoken request. The Lord knows the need and the weight on my heart. If you would, please pray that God will have his will in the situation and that He will give me the grace to accept whatever He chooses to do. Thank you!
